Event: The Electric Run

The electric Run (http://electricrun.com/) is a 5k race that took place at the Del Mar Racetrack on November 9th, 2013 to support the Boys & Girls club. The Run was at night and the whole trail along the track was lit up and glowed. Our team name was, "Shine Bright Like a Diamond".

 

The shirts we created: I (Jenn) bought 5 matching team shirts & created a design to go on the front of our shirts. I (Jenn) took them to a local screen print shop, "The James Gang" in Ocean Beach, CA to get them made, they were about $10 each. Here is how they turned out.

 

The race was so much fun. I want to do it every year it comes to San Diego. At the starting line they tossed out a bunch of "glow" items down to the crowd like rings, necklaces, big wands and other glowing items. Once the race starts you run through different "glowing" stations/LED light areas. It was awesome!!
